GARAGE SALE at thewhitehotel
Once again, Thewhitehotel is about to host an event that’s set to mark memories. It’s neither a designers market, nor a christmas market, or a design exhibition for that matter, but a bit of all. Around twenty designers will sell their own products : home-accessories, clothes, furniture, and other select contemporary objects.
Hosted in the hotel’s garage, which will be refurhbished for the occasion, the event will be an opportunity for designers to prove the marketability of their products, and for visitors to keep an eye on what’s emerging from the design scene while finding pieces hard to purchase anywhere else.
An unexpected venue, a unique experience
While the rooms of the hotel are known to many — and have been shown to the public quite a few times — this winter it’s the garage that will make for an exceptional venue. The scenography will help the whole 'garage sale' experience go from rural to truly urban, not least of which thanks to an oyster and champaign bar, the perfect companions for successful christmas shopping.
